Single Prints, Poor Highs/Lows & One-Time Framing
Structural anomalies and one-time framing as a trend tell.
Structural anomalies are where the profile leaves a footprint of imbalance — and they tend to get revisited.
- Single prints — price levels touched by only one TPO (one bracket); a sign of fast, one-sided movement that often acts as support/resistance later.
- Poor / weak highs & lows — an extreme with multiple TPOs flat against it (no clean tail) signals an unfinished auction likely to be retested.
- One-Time Framing (OTF) — on a trend day, each bracket's low stays above the prior bracket's low (up-trend), or each high below the prior high (down-trend). A break of OTF signals the trend is pausing.
These are exit and target tools: single prints and poor highs/lows mark where a move is likely to reach or reverse.
In AlgoPloy these are closed-bar facts, so they can drive alerts and the screener — scan a whole universe for poor highs or fresh single prints.
