Profile Types: Session, Visible Range & Composite

Choosing the right lookback for the question you're asking.

The same tool answers different questions depending on the lookback you profile over.

Session / Daily — one day's volume by price; best for intraday references and value migration.
Visible Range (VRVP) — profiles exactly what's on screen; great for framing a swing or a specific leg.
Composite — many sessions merged (a week, a range, a whole trend); reveals the big HVNs and LVNs that govern larger moves.
Fixed Range — a profile over a hand-picked span, e.g. a consolidation or an event.

Rule of thumb: match the profile's span to your trade's horizon — session for intraday, composite for swing and positional context.
