Today, on 4th Feb 2025, our algorithm took a well-structured trade on CAMPUS stock. This strategy is purely driven by Market Profile levels and designed to capitalize on institutional activity—or the lack thereof—during the initial balance period.

How This Strategy Works

The key premise of this approach is identifying weak initial balance (IB) volume in the first hour of trading and using that insight to spot a potential reversal.

  1. Assessing Initial Balance Volume:
    • Calculate the average daily volume of the last 10 trading sessions.
    • Determine the percentage of IB volume relative to this 10-day average.
    • If the IB volume is below 20%, it signals weak participation from institutions, making the price action more influenced by retail traders and small prop desks.
  2. Triggering the Trade:
    • A bullish 5-minute candle with strong volume confirms the reversal entry.

  3. Setting Targets and Stop Loss:
    • First target: IB Low
    • Second target: VPOC levels inside IB or IB Halfback
    • Stop Loss: Either the reference level where the price reversed or the day’s low, whichever is closer.

The Logic Behind This Strategy

A weak initial balance volume suggests a lack of institutional participation early in the session, leaving retail traders and smaller desks to dictate price action. When prices reach key reference levels like Previous Day Low, VPOC, Poor Low, or Swing Low, institutional players often step in with responsive buying. This influx of institutional demand drives prices back toward initial balance levels, making it a lucrative opportunity for a reversal trade.

The Customer agrees and acknowledges that any Instruction given or purported to be given to/by him/her is at his/her risk and algoploy.com is only providing the software platform for implementation of the same. algoploy.com may at its discretion not carry out any setups where algoploy.com has reasons to believe that the instructions are not genuine or are otherwise improper or unclear or raise a doubt. algoploy.com shall not be liable if any instructions are not carried out for any of the reasons stated herein. All records of algoploy.com generated by the transactions arising out of use of the Services shall be conclusive proof of the genuineness and accuracy and time of submission of the Instructions/recommendations.

Credit Card Transactions

You agree, understand and confirm that the credit card details provided by you for availing of services of algoploy.com will be correct and accurate and you shall not use the credit card which is not lawfully owned by you, i.e. in a credit card transaction, you must use your own credit card. You further agree and undertake to provide the correct and valid credit card details to algoploy.com. Termination/Un-Registration of Services

  • The Customer may choose to terminate/un-register the Online Services by submission of written request for the same.
  • AlgoPloy.com may, at its discretion, withdraw temporarily or terminate the Services, either wholly or in part, at any time without giving prior notice to the Customer. AlgoPloy.com may, without prior notice, suspend the Services at any time during which any maintenance work or repair is required to be carried out or in case of any emergency or for security reasons, which require the suspension of the Services. AlgoPloy.com shall endeavor to give a reasonable notice for withdrawal or termination of the Services.
  • The closure of the Account of the Customer will automatically terminate the Services. AlgoPloy.com may suspend or terminate the Services without prior notice if the Customer has breached these Terms and Conditions or AlgoPloy.com learns of the death, bankruptcy or lack of legal incapacity of the Customer or in case there is any change in the account holders. In such event the Services may be restarted by following the process and submission of such documents as specified by AlgoPloy.com in this regard.

Online and Mobile Alerts

AlgoPloy.com may from time to time provide automatic alerts and voluntary account-related alerts. Automatic alerts may be sent to you following certain changes made online to your AlgoPloy.com account, such as a change in your Registration Information. Voluntary account alerts may be turned on by default as part of the Service. They may then be customized, deactivated or reactivated by you. These alerts allow you to choose alert messages for your accounts. AlgoPloy.com may add new alerts from time to time, or cease to provide certain alerts at any time upon its sole discretion. Electronic alerts will be sent to the email address you have provided as your primary email address for AlgoPloy.com. The Customer also agrees AlgoPloy.com may disclose, in strict confidence, to other institutions, such information as may be reasonably necessary for reasons of fraud prevention, for complying with legal directive, statutory reporting, etc. as per regulations of Government of India, SEBI, NSE, BSE, MCX and all concerned authorities.
  4. AlgoPloy.com will not be liable for:
    • acting in good faith on any instructions received by AlgoPloy.com from or on behalf of the Customer in relation to the Algo Trading system;
    • error, default, delay or inability of AlgoPloy.com to act on all or any of the Instructions given by the Customer
    • loss of any information/instructions in transmission;
    • unauthorized access by any other person to any information /instructions given by the Customer or breach of confidentiality;

Disclaimer for Trading Analysis Products

The Customer acknowledges the risk factors & agrees to have understood the following –

The Customer acknowledges & agrees to the following –

Depending on future roadmap & AlgoPloy.com own plans, AlgoPloy.com will strive towards making the its service as comprehensive as possible in not-so-distant future.

Alteration to Pricing, if any AlgoPloy.com offers multiple suites of services to its Customers. Some of them are free at present while some of it are paid for. It is specifically informed to the Customer that AlgoPloy.com shall have the discretion to alter the pricing structure, if & as it may deem fit in future and may at its sole discretion, revise the fees for use of any or all of the Services, by notifying the Customer of such revision through the Website or in any manner as may be specified by AlgoPloy.com from time to time. The Customer shall be required to refer to the schedule of fees put up on the Website from time to time.

Termination of this Agreement

AlgoPloy.com may at any time, terminate its legal agreement with you:

  • if you have breached any provision of this Agreement (or have acted in a manner which clearly shows that you do not intend to, or are unable to comply with the provisions of this Agreement);
  • If AlgoPloy.com in its sole discretion believes it is required to do so by law Modifications of this Agreement AlgoPloy.com may modify this Agreement from time to time. Any and all changes to this Agreement will be posted on the AlgoPloy.com site. AlgoPloy.com shall have the absolute discretion to amend or supplement any of the Terms and Conditions, features and benefits in relation to the Services. AlgoPloy.com shall communicate the amended Terms and Conditions by hosting the same on the Website only. The Customer shall be responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms and Conditions, including amendments thereto as may be posted on the Website and shall be deemed to have accepted the amended Terms and Conditions by choosing to continue the use the Algo Trading System/Services. Any change in the Terms and Conditions shall be communicated to the Customer, in the manner as aforesaid, within reasonable time period before the date of their implementation. You are deemed to accept and agree to be bound by any changes to the Agreement when you use the Service after those changes are posted.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This User Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the applicable laws of India. The courts at Bangalore shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any proceedings arising out of, under or in relation to this agreement with AlgoPloy.com, or its officers, directors, employees, investors, agents or affiliates. Any dispute or difference either in interpretation or otherwise, of any terms of this User Agreement between the parties hereto, the same shall be referred to an independent arbitrator who will be appointed by AlgoPloy.com and his decision shall be final and binding on the parties hereto. The above arbitration shall be in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 as amended from time to time. The arbitration shall be held in Bangalore, The High Court of judicature at Bangalore alone shall have the jurisdiction and the Laws of India shall apply. You understand that, in return for agreement to this provision, AlgoPloy.com is able to offer the Service at the terms designated, with or without charge to you, and that your assent to this provision is an indispensable consideration to this Agreement.

Miscellaneous

All covenants, agreements, representations and warranties made in this Agreement shall survive your acceptance of this Agreement and the termination of this Agreement.

Limitations of Liability

AlgoPloy.com shall in no event be responsible or liable to you or to any third party, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, liquidated or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, revenue or business, arising in whole or in part from your access to AlgoPloy.com, your use of the service or this agreement, even if AlgoPloy.com has been advised of the possibility of such damages. notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this agreement, AlgoPloy.com’s liability to you for any cause whatever and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to nil.
